At a recent event devoted to discussing Palestinian affairs, I engaged with several participants shortly before a tragedy unfolded. During my conversations, it became apparent that many Israeli attendees were reluctant to acknowledge the severe issues that were unfolding. Financial and political analyst Ahmed Najar highlighted this reticence, noting that these distressing events are seldom named openly by those within Israeli circles.
