Violence Erupts Outside Ramallah, Leaving Three Palestinians Dead
Recent clashes near Ramallah resulted in the deaths of three Palestinians, while several others were injured. An IDF soldier also sustained minor injuries during confrontations between local Jewish residents and Border Police officers.
Incident in Maghayer Al-Dir
About 30 Jewish individuals entered the village of Maghayer Al-Dir, where they reportedly set fire to buildings and vehicles owned by Palestinians and defaced walls with graffiti. Security sources confirmed that this aggressive act triggered a chaotic scene in the area.
Exchange of Stones and Police Intervention
As tensions escalated, Palestinian residents tried to ward off the rioters by throwing stones. In response, the rioters hurled stones back, prompting Border Police to step in. During these events, officers fired upon the Arab inhabitants, causing the three fatalities and injuring seven others. One IDF soldier was also struck by a thrown rock and received treatment on site.
Aftermath and Law Enforcement Response
Following the incident, authorities detained five Israeli individuals, transferring them to police custody. Security forces eventually evacuated all the Jewish rioters from the village. The situation remains under investigation as officials work to piece together the sequence of events.
