IDF, Shin Bet Eliminate Prominent Hamas Operative in Jabaliya

An operation carried out by both the IDF and Shin Bet resulted in the killing of Arafat Dhiab, a known member of Hamas’s Al-Furqan battalion, in the Jabaliya region. According to military sources, the strike was based on intelligence that identified Dhiab as a key figure who had infiltrated a local kibbutz and a popular music festival during the tragic events of October 7.

During the initial assault on October 7, Dhiab had managed to enter strategic locations, even assuming control over a local Hamas police station as the conflict escalated. He was implicated in orchestrating further terror attacks against Israeli targets. Utilizing intelligence gathered by Shin Bet, the military was able to pinpoint several terrorist operatives who were using military compounds near IDF positions, in addition to a command center in Jabaliya that coordinated hostile activities.

Over the past weekend, the Israeli Air Force conducted extensive operations throughout Gaza, targeting facilities believed to be storage sites for weapons, anti-tank missile launch points, terror tunnels, and other critical infrastructural elements used by Hamas.

Gazan Civil Defense Spokesperson Uncovered as Hamas Operative

Additional intelligence released by the IDF has led to further revelations regarding the “Civil Defense” in Gaza. Documents indicate that the individual serving as the spokesperson for Gaza’s civil defense, who has frequently provided data later deemed inaccurate by international media, is not simply influenced by Hamas but is actually affiliated with the militant organization.

Throughout the ongoing conflict, the IDF has warned media outlets to exercise caution when considering casualty figures and reports from Gaza’s civil defense. Given the pervasive influence of Hamas over most official institutions in the area, there is a significant risk that the information provided is skewed to suit the organization’s narrative.
