IDF Dismantles Terror Networks and Neutralizes Mines on the Israel-Syria Border
Israeli military forces continue their operations in southern Syria as they work to eliminate terrorist infrastructure and secure the safety of the Golan Heights’ residents. The troops from the IDF’s 210th Division are focused on dismantling hostile networks and reducing threats posed by armed groups in the area.
During the ongoing mission, the IDF uncovered various forms of combat equipment. Among the items discovered were several rocket shells and an assortment of landmines. These findings underscore the persistent dangers in the region and highlight the importance of proactive security measures.
Additionally, last Friday the IDF targeted and neutralized surface-to-sea missile systems located in the Latakia region. The missile systems were deemed a potential hazard to maritime navigation, not only for Israel but also for international vessels. The operation also involved disabling components of surface-to-air missile systems, further diminishing the threats posed by hostile elements operating in the vicinity.
The continued presence and efforts of the IDF in the region remain an essential part of ensuring the safety and security of local residents as well as maintaining stability on the Israel-Syria border.
