Shleimus HaAretz Conference Held in Crown Heights

On Sunday, June 8, 2025, Crown Heights Women for the Safety and Integrity of Israel hosted the 11th annual Shleimus HaAretz Conference for Israel. The event was held in tandem with an art exhibition titled “Iyar, The Soul of Spring” at The Juneberry Tree Art Gallery.

Traditionally scheduled in the period leading up to the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Yom Hillula on Gimmel Tammuz, the conference commemorates the Rebbe’s enduring legacy of leadership. Under the banner of Shleimus HaAretz—which emphasizes the protection of Israel’s borders to safeguard Jewish lives and uphold the principle of Pikuach Nefesh—the gathering also recognized community members and groups dedicated to realizing these ideals.

This year, special acknowledgment was given to Nachala, the settlement movement in Israel, for its efforts to reinvigorate the Gaza Frontier. Their work embodies the Rebbe’s guidance for Israeli leaders to “maintain absolute security and full control without any form of capitulation” in the region. In practice, this approach means not only having the IDF actively patrolling but also ensuring that Jewish communities establish a firm presence in the area.

Looking ahead to the time when security is fully established in Gaza, Nachala has already prepared six innovative Garinei Hityashvut, comprising hundreds of families prepared to relocate once the area is free from hostile influences.

In addition, prominent figures including MKs Simcha Rothman, Moshe Soloman, and Ohad Tal recorded their greetings for the conference. Their messages were captured during Nachala’s recent mission to Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, an event that coincided with the commemoration of the 58th anniversary of the Six Day War.

Furthermore, the conference spotlighted the generous contributions of artists Lea Cattan, Elisheva Marshall, and Rena Williams, who donated paintings for an auction benefiting Nachala’s ongoing initiatives. The auction remains active until June 12, 2025.
